Tea House for Dior Bamboo Pavilion

※English ver. Below この度、岩元航大率いるスタジオ発光体は、2026年2月に代官山にオープンしましたコンセプトストア「Dior Bamboo Pavilion」のためのアートワーク「Dior Tea House」を制作しました。

四季折々の植物が茂るDior Bamboo Pavilionの裏庭にひっそりと佇む、茅葺きや竹細工・越前和紙といった日本のあらゆる工芸技術を集結して建てられた本鑑賞用のアートワークはスタジオ発光体が設計・施工しました。

ゴールドにあしらわれた煌びやかな本館とは対照的なDior Tea Houseでは、都会の喧騒を忘れ、雪見窓から見える苔に目をやる—そのような静謐な空間をお楽しみいただけましたら幸いです。

Quietly nestled in the rear garden of the Dior Bamboo Pavilion — lush with seasonal plantings — this contemplative artwork was designed and constructed by Studio Hakkotai, bringing together a wide range of Japanese craft techniques, including thatched roofing, bamboo craftsmanship, and Echizen washi paper.

In contrast to the main pavilion adorned in brilliant gold, the Dior Tea House offers a tranquil retreat from the bustle of the city. We hope visitors will enjoy this serene space, where one can pause and gaze at the moss garden through the yukimi window.
