Interlaken, Switzerland, is famous for its woodcraft. The town has several small stores that sell ornaments to tourists, of cows and sheep and other animals that inhabit Switzerland. However, since the majority of the items they sell are individually hand carved, they can be quite expensive as souvenirs.

So they decided to reconsider the way they made them. They aimed to create a form of ornament that was still familiar to people, that could be sold for a lower price than their current products.

スイスのインタラーケンは木彫りで有名な町です。町には牛や羊などの動物の人形を旅行客用に販売している小さなお店がいくつもあります。

しかし、そこで売られている手作りの人形は、手のひらサイズのものでもかなり高価なため、なかなか買い手が決まらないのが現状です。そこで、加工方法や形状を見つめ直すことで、親しみやすいフォルムで、且つ低価格で提供できる動物の人形をデザインしました。
