Like when a woman's face is masked by a veil, covering something beautiful can draw our attention to it and help bring out the beauty possessed by that object.

This flower vase’s design is influenced by “shoji” doors often seen in traditional Japanese houses, and contains a wooden frame affixed to partially transparent Japanese paper that creates a beautiful scene using the flower’s shadow.

When placing this flower vase on a windowsill, sunlight coming in from the outside projects the flower's shadow upon the paper.
