Re-Importation is an exhibition by seven young Japanese designers freshly graduated from four different art schools in three different countries: Central Saint Martin and the Glasgow School of Art in the United Kingdom, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in the Netherlands, and the École Cantonale D'Art de Lausanne in Switzerland.
The discoveries they have made and the thoughts that have come to us thanks to this design education that is different from what you can experience in Japan have greatly influenced their design vision. At this exhibition, this design vision shines through in the various products, in the the architectural project and in the jewelry that is on display.
Re-Importationは、イギリスのCentral Saint Martins、 The Glasgow School of Art、 オランダのGerrit Rietveld Academie、スイスのÉcole Cantonale D'Art de Lausanne の4 校を今年卒業した日本人7 名によるデザインイベントです。
留学中私たち彼らのデザインヴィジョンは、日本とは異なったデザイン教育から得た発見や思考に大きく影響されてきました。本展ではそのデザインヴィジョンがプロダクト、建築、ジュエリーなどさまざまに表現されています。
